Large Braked Castors

These four very heavy duty braked castor wheels can be fitted to any of the medium to larger trunks in our range.

They allow the trunk to be moved around very easily as the wheels can turn on their axis, very helpful if you are moving the trunk by yourself, and/or, if it is very heavy.

These wheels are incredibly robust and extremely strong, they have a brake lock lever, this allows the trunk to be left on a slope, or a gradient, the tyres are made of a

hardened rubber, these are identical to the ones that flight case makers use.

To fix these to the trunk, we add an extra thick floor panel to the inside base of your trunk, (a reinforced base doubling the thickness of the base) and we secure the metal

fixing sockets to the base of the trunk . once fitted they will increase the height of the trunk by around 14cms, or 5.50 inches.

They will add 10 kilos to the total weight of your trunk, but as they are fixed to the base it will still be be very easy to move around.

The cost is for the fitted 4 large braked castors only it does not include any type of trunk.
